PokéBonk not loading?

A blank game, a server message and a keyboard focus problem need different checks. Start with the symptom you can actually see.

Start with the exact symptom

Check whether the whole page is missing, the game window is blank, or the game itself is showing an error. The page around the game and the game service can load independently. A working navigation bar does not prove that the game is ready.

Blank screen or a long initial load

  1. Give the first load time to finish on the current connection. Avoid repeatedly pressing reload while resources are still arriving.
  2. Check that your browser is current and that JavaScript and WebGL are available. If you changed hardware acceleration, follow the browser's restart prompt before retesting.
  3. Close other demanding tabs. If the game reaches Settings, lower its graphics options before attempting a longer session.
  4. Use the game-window reload control once, then watch for a menu or a specific error. Reloading the window is a retry, not a repair of the remote service.

If the game works in a separate browser profile, compare that profile's extensions and browser settings. Keep the original profile and session unchanged; a fresh profile may not have access to the same Guest progress.

Connection or maintenance message

Read the message inside the game and any Retry control it provides. Check whether other sites load on the same connection, then retry once. If the game reports maintenance, waiting for that service to return may be the only useful next step.

Repeatedly resetting the page does not repair a server outage. Avoid switching accounts or deleting local state as a response to a network error. This guide does not operate the game's server and cannot confirm an outage from one failed attempt.

The game runs, but controls do not respond

  1. Click inside the game window to give it keyboard focus. Close any open browser or game dialog that is capturing input.
  2. Check the current game's Controls or Settings panel for the action you are trying. Do not assume a key from an older version still applies.
  3. Test a short movement in open space. If the game is paused, resume through the control shown in the game.
  4. Try the fullscreen control beneath the window if the available area is too small. If fullscreen is declined, continue in the normal window.

On a phone, rotate to landscape if the interface is cramped. A successful keyboard test on desktop does not establish that the same action supports touch.

Unexpected Guest progress or session

Stay in the same browser profile and device while checking what happened. Confirm which entry or account option you selected and read any message the game presents. Private browsing, a new profile or another device can use a different session.

The game's published policy, checked on 23 October 2026, says that browser localStorage keeps session information, settings, Guest state and read-news state. It also states that inactive Guest accounts and their progress are deleted after 60 days, while inactive sessions expire after 30 days. These are the provider's policy statements; this guide has not tested those retention periods or a recovery process.

A browser session and server-side progress are different parts of the same access problem. Do not log out, create another Guest identity, delete storage or reset progress as a routine troubleshooting step. This portal does not manage the game's records. If you need to report a problem, record the visible error, approximate time, browser, device and game version without sharing passwords or account tokens.

After the problem clears

Return to the game window and test one short action before starting a longer run. If you are new to the controls or upgrade screen, the first-run guide gives the next steps.
